We decided to start this blog so friends and family can follow our journey as we add to our family through an Ethiopian Adoption. I hope to keep it as exciting as possible although most of the adoption process is boring paperwork!
Why Ethiopia? We had a wonderful experience adopting from S. Korea. We loved our trip and we also love the culture and the people. However, rumors are that International adoptions from S. Korea are going to be suspended in 2010 as more Koreans are adopting domestically. Also, the wait lists are increasing. We had been researching our options and came across a video from our adoption agency, Holt, about an exciting new program they were offering. After watching this video and weighing our options we realized this was the best option for our family.

- I was born in New Jersey. Married Eric and moved to his hometown in Virginia. We lived in Virginia for a couple of years before relocating to Mississippi three years ago. Was a secretary until Aiden joined us in 2005.
